Candon City Showcases Cry of Candon Float and Tobacco Festival at the 127th Philippine Independence Day Celebration
Candon City proudly participated in the nation’s 127th Philippine Independence Day celebration at Luneta Park and Quirino Grandstand, Manila, featuring its Cry of Candon (Ikkis ti Candon) float and Tobacco Festival.
A highlight of the event was the grand parade of floats and festivals, showcasing the country’s rich history and cultural heritage.
Leading the Candon delegation were City Mayor Eric Singson, City Vice Mayor Kristelle Singson, and members of the city council, accompanied by barangay officials.
The main Independence Day celebration was led by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., together with members of his family, cabinet secretaries, diplomats, and other key government officials.
