“We are assuring our full support to City Mayor Ericson Singson in his plans and projects for our city,” City Vice Mayor Alfonso Singson said.
VM Singson, who won unopposed on his second term, said there is a need for smooth sailing of relationship between the executive and the legislative branch to pass laws and projects for the welfare and interests of the people.
Singson said that he will push for some changes in the City’s Health Office and City of Candon Hospital for better services as he sensed these are the top two flagship projects of City Mayor Ericson Singson.
With the new five local lady legislators, the most number in the city council history, we will enact laws for more efficient collections of revenues and taxes in the city, he said.
VM Singson said he continues to monitor the timely delivery of assistances to farmers as Candon is an agriculture based city.
“We need to ensure that farmers’ assistance will be given on time,” VM Singson said
He hinted that outgoing City Councilor Oseas Diasen, chair of the Committee on Agriculture, will be tapped to help in agriculture and environment.
