The midwifery examinees did it again for a great honor for Northern Luzon Philippines State College (NLPSC)!
Twenty-two midwifery examinees from NLPSC passed the board exam for a perfect score that was held last June.
The 22 new midwives are led Michael Jay A. Ilagan, Apple Lyra R. Rapada and Arvei O. Masendo, who are top 2, 4 and 10 passers in Region 1, respectively.
The other NLPSC midwife passers are Joanna Vera A. Asiong, Superlyn P. Balingtan, Aubrey G. Batin, Rosalyn L. Corpuz, Christian Shawn Ray O. de Guzman, Princess Diane F. Espiritu, Jasmin A. Guevarra, Aubrey A. Habon, Geraldine L. Hernando, Marjorie L. Lapic, Maricris G. Maque, Devie A. Morqued, Elijah S. Oloan, Mary Grace G. Pacquing, Alyssa May M. Palangdao, Rey A. Rendon, Jonalyn L. Saldevar, Maricar T. Tibalbag and Isagani J. Wagis.
NLPSC administration and Midwifery department gave the new midwives certificate of recognition to honor their excellent performance.
In addition to this, a thanksgiving mass was offered by the Midwifery Department with Rev. Fr. Rosmel D. Taerel as the officiating priest.
Fr. Taerel said that the celebration of the success of the midwifery graduates in the board should be offered to God as He is the source of wisdom and good deeds.
After the mass, a motorcade for the new midwives from Candon to Tagudin and from Tagudin to Sta. Maria, and back to Candon was held to spread NLPSC as a performing college in the region.
During the testimonial luncheon conducted at the lobby of the Administration Building, Estrella C. Gaerlan, Severino G. Alviento and Elizabeth M. Gacusana expressed their overwhelming feelings and words of congratulations to the new midwives who brought another honor and prestige to NLPSC.

Mandy Roie A. Atendido, who helped in the review of the board passers, received a special mention from their Department Chair, Estrella C. Gaerlan.
