
CANDON CITY, Ilocos Sur – The Schools Division Office (SDO) of Candon City officially implemented its Rationalization Program for this school year when it inducted its supervisors and personnel last July 10, 2015 at Candon South Central School Hall.
The rationalized structure in SDO of Candon City paved way to the creation of two divisions namely Curriculum Implementation Division (CID) and School Governance and Operations Division (SGOD).
Gemma Q. Tacuycuy, CESO VI, schools division superintendent, inducted the new SDO supervisors and personnel.
The new inductees from the Curriculum Implementation Division are: Ernesto Aquino, Jr., chief education supervisor; Florecita Razo, education program supervisor; Pacita Basabas, education program supervisor; Albert Gamoso, Ed. D, education program supervisor; Philip Bilgera, education program specialist II; and Jerson Rod Acosta, project development officer II.
From the School Governance and Operations Division, the inducted supervisors and personnel are: Danilo Basabas, chief education supervisor; Maria Elena Altis, senior education program specialist; Rey Manzano, senior education program specialist; John Marvin Gacutan, Ed. D., education program specialist II; Ronald Galicia, education program specialist II; and Hartzell Virocel, planning officer III.
Inducted into office from the Office of the Schools Division Superintendent are: Shiela Mecos, information technology officer I; Carlo Gabriel Annaguey, administrative officer IV; Dianalou Isabel Calindas, administrative officer IV; Joan Acosta, accountant III; Vivien Wianne Joy Ellosso, administrative officer V; Catherine Gagarin, administrative assistant III; Cristine Gaceta, administrative assistant III; Manfred Rey Pineda, administrative assistant II; and Alexander Calindas, administrative aide VI.
The SDO of Candon City, a small division of Region 1, implemented the program by virtue of Executive Order 366 issued in October 2014 as contained in DepEd Order No. 50, s. 2014.
The Deped Rationalization Program aims to focus department’s efforts and resources on its vital/core services and improve the quality and efficiency of its services delivery by eliminating/minimizing overlaps and duplication and improving agency performance through the rationalization of service delivery and support systems and organization structure and staffing pattern as stipulated on the aforementioned DepEd Order.
