The City Government of Candon, under the visionary leadership of City Mayor Eric D. Singson, proudly secured its place as one of the Top 10 National Finalists in the National SubayBayani Awards 2025 – City Government Category.

Representing the city in receiving the recognition were City Councillor Eric Owen Singson and CLGOO Manuel Dumagpi.

The award was presented on November 26, 2025, at The Manila Hotel, during the ceremony led by DILG Region I, honoring outstanding LGUs that exemplify good governance and exceptional performance.

This milestone highlights Candon City’s unwavering commitment to transparent, accountable, and people-centered public service.
