Candon City, under the leadership of City Mayor Eric D. Singson, was honored with the Naisangsangayan a Ganuat Award โ€“ Large Classification during the 2nd Region I Convention on Civil Registration and Vital Statistics (CRVS) held in Laoag City on October 24, 2025.

The award was received by OIC-LCR Myrna N. Novida in recognition of the cityโ€™s exemplary performance and commitment to efficient and quality civil registration services.
